The
mud-therapy cure cycle starts
with the medical check-up on admission. A cycle has to
include at least 10 to 12
sessions (or two cycles of six
to eight sessions in
spring-summer and autumn-winter).
The mud is applied by qualified
staff on the patient’s body
following the thermalist
doctor’s directions concerning
the location, length and
temperature of the treatment.
At the end of the mud treatment,
the patient has a thermal shower
and bathes in an appropriate tub
for an ozone thermal bath.
In the end, after some rest
during which there is a
“sweating reaction”, the patient
undergoes a general massage that
intensifies the benefits of the
mud therapy.
