Thermal Mud Therapy
Thermal mud is spread over the affected areas of the body at a temperature of about 40°C.
On the one hand, the heat produces intense skin vasodilation and muscle relaxation; on the other hand, the thermal stress stimulates metabolism with the consequent release of hormones: cortisol and endorphins.
The former is a “natural cortisone” with anti-inflammatory value, the latter has an analgesic effect, also helping to raise the pain threshold on the treated person. In this sense, thermal mud acts as a true drug, with a dual action and no potentially harmful side effects. Subject to medical examination. Duration 15 minutes: Mud therapy only with final shower Duration 20 minutes: Balneotherapy onlyDuration40 minutes: Complete mud and bath therapy

Thermal Balneotherapy
The thermal bath has a stimulating effect on the circulation and cellular metabolism and finds indication inhypertension, obesity, gout, states of depression, and especially in peripheral vasculopathies and also in some arthropathies.
Inhalations
The technique of thermal inhalations with mother water (by direct steam or compressed air jet) corresponds to the old practice of “suffumigation,” the famous pot of boiling water with dissolved balsamic substances, from which our grandmothers made us breathe steam by covering our heads with a towel.
Mineral water for inhalation use is placed inside a device, which has the task of “crushing” the water itself into smaller or smaller particles that the subject, placed in front of the device, inhales through the upper airways.
Inhalations are indicated in affections of the upper respiratory tract, especially in cases where a rewetting and eutrophic action is needed on the mucous membranes.

Micronized Nasal Showers
Regarding nasal “showers, “thermal water, kept at a constant and pleasant temperature, is run, in a gentle and continuous flow, inside the nasal cavities, helping to clear the airways (nasal lavage).
Nasal irrigations can be an effective way to relieve sinusitis-related symptoms and an adjunct to traditional treatments, such as antibiotics and nasal steroids.
